Le`s Chinese Restaurant in Pioneer

The food was good. I especially liked the orange chicken as it had some kick that was just right for my taste. During the covid era, plan to take it home or find a place to eat as there no outdoor seating.

Horrible experience. Don’t order honey walnut shrimp. It was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever tasted. It was a yellow sauce and I couldn’t even make out what the heck the flavor was but it was not good. I tried to tell the owners and they made me pay for it even tho I only ate two because I was confused as to why it was that gross....I was fine paying the rest of the meal but didn’t want to pay for those disgusting things.

I have been eating at Le`s since before they were at this location....The best restaurant for lunch and dinner for miles!!! The family is wonderful and the food is always fresh and delicious!!!!

Good food, smaller than I'm use to portions from a Chinese Restaurant but overall it was good and will go back.

If you are on highway 88, you definitely need to stop and enjoy some GREAT Chinese food nestled away in the Sierra. The staff is friendly and the food rocks

I have been going to Let's for 11 years. The food if consistently good. Jimmy Le is always there. Great family place.

Excellent food, friendly staff, clean restaurant environment. Couldn't ask for a better restaurant this close to home!

I don't know where some of these people ate, but this was among the best American Chinese food I've ever had. The place was clean, and the food was made with actual meat, and cooked on the spot. Some was your standard fare, but the main courses were exceptional. I ate a multi course meal they have set up for parties of at least two. It was only $11.50 apiece. I left full and wasn't hungry an hour later.

I’ve been getting takeout from Lee’s for many years since they had different locations and I’ve always been satisfied by the food. I have never eaten at the restaurant itself, but it’s always clean and everyone is always nice. Best Chinese Food restaurant in Amador County!

Average but pretty good for what the hills have to offer. The place needs a lot of love. Service is extremely prompt and is well liked in the area.

Worst Chinese take out ever! It took longer that expected which we did not mind. However the PoPo plate was all soggy, and tasteless. The chicken salad was old and limp. If we had not already left and headed up the mountain I would have demanded a refund. The staff was also rude, especially the older man in the back. Even if you are dying of starvation pass this place up. We have lived up the hill from here for many years, and made this mistake twice, never again!! "Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me" I have also read the other reviews! which are constant with ours. I am sure any positive ones are from their friends and family!!!

Horrible service. Owner is extremely rude. Was irritated when we got there and slammed our plate setting on the table. We weren't offered anything to drink and when we asked for water (after we got our food) he brought 4 glasses for a party of 7! Most uncomfortable eating experience ever and we will not be going back.

Eat here often. Have tried quite a bit of their cuisine, I must say, it's all been quite good. Down home chinese food, the way it should be, hot, delicious and served quick. Reasonable prices too. They have accommodated our special requests too, which is real nice.

Our first time a party of 4 all our dinners were just fine. A family friendly place very casual setting. The staff are very friendly but oh so quiet. Would have probably rated it higher but we need to try more dinners to go by.

I went there last night for dinner people very friendly. sweet and sour chicken was a little dry the rest of the dinner was good. My main concern is the tables were greasy as well as all condiments containers not just slightly but they have not been cleaned in a long while, this concerns me and I will not be back ...there are no health department inspection hung up for the public to view. the owners and his family are very nice it just needs a good cleaning... really could only give a half star

Definitely a "middle of the road" type of food. Not bad but nothing spectacular either. The food actually reminded me of what you would get at a buffet...made fresh but served up after being kept warm over a period of time.The fried rice was mushy and the sweet & sour pork very fatty and tough. The chow mein was a little on the bland side.Lemon chicken was passable, but the beef & broccoli was very watery, beef on the tough side, and broccoli was very limp.The staff was friendly, and service was good, establishment seemed clean.Overall, a place to go for a quick meal at a decent price, but not a place if one is craving quality Chinese food.

They cut the prawns in half the long way, so the order of 6 prawns is actually only 3.

The Hot n Spicy curry chicken with shrimpFried rice was just right amount of spicy and hot and the rice was moist. I put some of my shrimp in the curry sauce. Was the best curry I’ve ever had !

At the moment you come to this place the waiters give you a great feeling. Very hospitable hosts, it is a lovely place to to go out with buddies or with your date. tasty cuisine, talented chef de cuisine, comfortable pay and excellent service. Highly recommended.

We were on our way home to Folsom, CA from Kirkwood after a day of skiing and for some reason, this place caught our eye. We loved it. It was around noon on a Tuesday and we had the place to ourselves except for two take out orders. I ordered a large Wor Won Ton Soup and my husband had the General Chicken Le Combination Lunch. I ate all my soup - it was delish! The General Chicken was supposed to be spicy but it wasn't - butit didn't matter, it was very good and my husband finished that as well. Pretty sure this will be our stop on our way home from Kirkwood in the future!
